Anti-Copy QR Authentication
Enterprise anti-counterfeit technology that protects physical products and printed assets using Authentific's proprietary Anti-Copy QR codes. Each code is cryptographically signed and engineered to defeat photocopying, scanning, and reprinting - the most common counterfeiting methods.

Standard QR codes are trivial to counterfeit.
A standard QR code is just a URL. Anyone with a smartphone can photograph it, reprint it on a counterfeit product, and a normal verification system will return "genuine" - because the underlying URL is identical. This defeats the entire purpose of QR-based authentication.
Counterfeiters exploit this in pharma, spirits, cosmetics, electronics, automotive parts, and tax stamps. The result: lost revenue, consumer safety incidents, brand erosion, and regulatory exposure.

Four layers combine to make every unit uniquely verifiable and uncopyable.
Sign
A unique payload is generated per unit and signed by HSM-backed keys. The signature is the proof of authenticity - not a database lookup.
Encode
The signed payload is encoded into an Anti-Copy QR with proprietary visual structures that break when reproduced by photocopier or scanner.
Apply
Codes are applied via security-printed labels, direct print, closure integration, or NFC - at production line speed.
Verify
Any scan is validated against the cryptographic signature and Anti-Copy structure in <80ms. A reproduced code fails instantly.
